The mission of the Joyful Heart Foundation is to heal, educate, and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse and to shed light into the darkness that surrounds these issues. Founded in 2004 by actress Mariska Hargitay, Joyful Heart has since had thousands of people participate in pioneering retreats and wellness programs that are designed to engage the mind, body, and spirit for healing purposes. The organization has also reached millions more through national public outreach campaigns that have planted the seeds of a changed awareness.

Founded by its member charities in 1988, EarthShare is an opportunity for environmentally-conscious employees and workplaces to support hundreds of environmental groups through workplace payroll contribution campaigns. EarthShare participates in campaigns at hundreds of public and privates sector workplaces.

Today EarthShare represents and supports more than 400 of America's most respected environmental and conservation charities, including 39 national organizations and hundreds of local groups in 18 affiliate states. EarthShare's member organizations work hard every day to safeguard your health and the environment by combating global warming, protecting ancient forests, protecting our water from toxic contaminants, saving endangered species and so much more. All of these efforts are supported by EarthShare's mission.

The American Red Cross is where people mobilize to help their neighbors across the street, across the country, and across the world in emergencies. Each year, in communities large and small, victims of some 70,000 disasters turn to neighbors familiar and new the more than half a million volunteers and 35,000 employees of the Red Cross. Through over 700 locally supported chapters, more than 15 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their homes, communities and world.

Global Action for Children is a nonpartisan, results-oriented coalition dedicated to advocating for orphans and highly vulnerable children in the developing world. GAC works to increase funding and ensure it is spent effectively so all children have the health care, education, food, and protection they need to grow up safe and healthy. Launched in September 2003, Global Action for Children (GAC) is an independent, collaborative campaign of nongovernmental, faith-based, and student organizations dedicated to supporting orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) and the communities and families that care for them. GAC's unique strength lies in the diversity of its coalition partners and allies and its ability to mobilize a broad range of constituencies in support of advocacy for OVC.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina has one purpose- to grant wishes to children between the ages from of 2 1/2 and 18 with life-threatening medical conditions. The benefits of wish fulfillment are many and varied. Though it is difficult to measure the effect a wish has on a child, we believe that while doctors provide the medicine, the Make-A-Wish Foundation provides the magic.

The mission of American Foundation for Children with AIDS is to improve the lives of children and youth struggling with the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Community Health Charities of America (CHCA) works to improve the lives of people affected by a disability or chronic disease by uniting caring donors in the workplace with our nation's most trusted health charities. For more than half a century, CHCA has partnered with its member health charities in the workplace to provide a cost effective partnership that enhances the ability to deliver more of every dollar donated into the hands of those who desperately need it. Through its nationwide network of 36 affiliate offices, CHCA connects the American workplace to more than 1,200 credible charities focused on addressing our nation's most pressing health issues.

Since 1956, Global Impact has raised more than $1 billion for thousands of charitable organizations, including its 55 member charities, through a comprehensive set of programs. In addition to supporting critical international programs, Global Impact manages two of the largest workplace giving campaigns in the world: the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area, serving all Federal employees in the Washington DC area, and the Combined Federal Campaign Overseas for civilian and military Department of Defense personnel stationed abroad.
